Flylady teaches to pretend you are going on a cruise the first week of December so that every Christmas preparation is completed by then. As a faithful follower, I try to comply. This year though, I took her literally.
Last night we heard a loud thumping at our door. I had flopped around all day with sick kids and was ill myself so I ran upstairs and asked the kids to get the door. A large package with glittery writing was waiting on the porch.
The children looked up, because they heard Santa's jingle bells ringing from somewhere above. They read the letter and discovered Santa was sending us an early gift... a Baja Cruise. Pandemonium broke lose.
Inside the package were supplies for the trip. Amphibians tromped through the house and swam through the carpet. We held each other and jumped up and down for joy. As I looked in each room that night, I saw that half of each closet and dresser was dumped on the floor in preparation for their grand getaway. As I write, Briz and the buddies are at the pool practicing with their new gear. Such Christmas excitement!
wow . . . santa is quite the generous benefactor at your house! what excitement to get to go on a baja-onian cruise! you will have to stop by, but you must know that. little vy is very fuzz-worthy and i dont really kiss her like most people think i should - i fuzz her especially right after her bath! she is waiting for a shower of fuzzes by her auntie in just a few days!
